Two things T Lo consider to be unbearably tacky on the red carpet, making out and underboob, were simultaneously served up by two seasoned stars who should know better at Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood party. Ban Affleck and Jennifer Lopez? That’s your cue.
To be honest, we don’t mind the underboob nearly as much as the performative kissing. We can’t say the design is all that appealing to us. The breastplate idea seems unresolved and we don’t love the waist on the skirt. But we suppose what really bugs about the design is that Zendaya wore a much better version of it years ago, courtesy of Tom Ford. J Lo, it’s not like you to be so stale in your choices, girl. We were going to make some crack about him doing the bare minimum, but then we realized he’s wearing a double-breasted velvet suit and it looks pretty great on him. A shame the tie and shirt are so basic. He could’ve really taken this somewhere interesting.
