… there’s just no way in hell we could get away with saying that their fashion is discussable or notable. Not that it had to be, of course. George is the director of The Boys in The Boat, not the star. If anything, they’re rather notably well dressed for a director and their spouse. It’s subtle, but his style has improved slightly in the years since he married her. He was never a slob, but he sometimes looked thrown together at the last minute. As sedate a look as this is, it’s all clearly of high quality and well presented. The watch is nice and the shoes are shiny. She really does look spectacular here. Her tastes sometimes run toward the flashy if not downright tacky, but she’s much better off in this sort of classic, low-key glamour. Hey, how about that? Turns out they were discussable after all.
