The May December cast continues to hit the promo tour in weirdass looks. Natalie Portman, Charles Melton and Julianne Moore posed for the cameras for the New York photo call and we really want to know what everyone was thinking before they arrived at these decisions.
We bet you experienced at least two scrolldown surprises.
Natalie Portman
This is cute, but like the getup she wore the other day, it feels really off-model for her. We guess she’s feeling the need for some short n’ sassy looks as she heads into her divorce. We don’t love the skirt on its own, but the jacket does a lot for it. Boots would’ve been cuter than those sandals.
Charles Melton
Sir, you are far too hot to be wearing such drab, askew clothing. We realize going straight from Riverdale to Oscar buzz might drive an actor to make some rapid changes in style, but this just reeks of “I’m a serious actor now.” It’s also depressing.
Julianne Moore
And speaking of depressing, this is coming right up to the border of “cry for help.” Lady, you’ve always had an edge and a sense of weirdness in your style, but this just looks like something a Goth who manages a Gap in 1997 would wear to work.
