America’s Got Talent, like a lot of reality shows, is allowed to stay in production during the writer’s strike, which means host Heidi Klum is free to do that thing she does better than almost anyone else in the business: serve wacky, eye-popping, highly photogenic and even occasionally stylish looks on her way into the studio. You can take the model off the runway, but you can’t take the runway walk out of the model.

It’s… not entirely working for us. The print is bold and colorful, but we tend to think it’s a bit ugly and garish. We want to enjoy the purple aviators, but they look cheap to our eyes. And while we can understand not wanting to leave that massive top untucked, we don’t think the half-tuck works at all. We wonder if the top and the pants would work better with other pieces; like, put the pants with a plain white cami and pair the top with a pair of faded boyfriend jeans.
