Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100
The superstar scores her 15th Hot 100 No. 1 with her new Toy Story 5 single.

Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” gallops in at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single from Toy Story 5, inspired by the film’s cowgirl heroine Jessie, is Swift’s 15th career leader.
Among highlights of the song’s instant coronation, Swift breaks out of a tie with Drake and Rihanna to claim sole possession of the third-most No. 1s in the Hot 100’s history, after only The Beatles (20) and Mariah Carey (19).
The track is also Swift’s ninth No. 1 Hot 100 debut, as she passes Ariana Grande for the most among women, and her 70th top 10, extending her record for the most by a woman artist.

We’re In Our Rom-Com Slop Era. Maybe It’s What We Deserve
There are, apparently, roughly 20 million of us who have sat through Office Romance. The film, which stars Jennifer Lopez and Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein as the glamorous CEO of an airline, Air Cruz (Lopez), who falls for her awkward Brit of an attorney (Goldstein), shot to Netflix’s global number one spot within hours of its release. This makes it a bona fide hit. Look a little deeper, however, and you’ll find that its score on critics’ site Rotten Tomatoes is just 48 per cent. One reviewer, on the late critic Roger Ebert’s popular review site, gave it just half a star, deeming it “awful”. Other summaries were vaguely more accepting; one described it as “not as bad as it could have been”. Another said that it “almost gave us what we needed from a rom-com”.

Can I replace my moisturiser with sunscreen? An expert weighs in
Want to avoid overloading your skin in hot weather? We asked an expert

When summer rolls around, the last thing you want to do is pile on layer after layer of skincare (from serums and moisturiser to sunscreen) because let’s face it – humidity, sweat and high temperatures don’t mix well with multi-step routines.
Until very recently, the last two steps of our morning skincare routine were always the same: moisturiser followed by sunscreen. In fact, they’re so important that if you were only using two skincare products a day – it would be those. But given the many options for state-of-the-art SPFs packed with moisturising ingredients, we began to wonder if it’s possible to skip the moisturiser entirely and apply sunscreen directly as the final step in your routine.

We Asked Top Cheese Experts to Declare a Cheese of the Summer — They Couldn’t Pick Just One
Chefs and fromagers say these creamy, light cheeses are the best picks for the hottest months.

Cheese might not be the first food that comes to mind when you think of summer. Hot dogs, watermelon, and those red, white, and blue Bomb Pops may settle in first. However, cheese is ubiquitous and America’s year-round devotion to it is undeniable.
In the summer months, cheese is best paired with seasonal fruits and vegetables, or, as Cameron Smith, the maître du fromage (literally, the “master of cheese”) at Virginia fine-dining destination The Inn at Little Washington suggests, melted on your favorite cookout entrée.
We tracked down Smith and three other cheese experts at restaurants and cafes in Anchorage, Alaska; Oakland, California; and New York City to ask which type of cheese they’d declare as the cheese of the summer. Find their top picks below, from a creamy whipped burrata to a soft goat milk cheese.

Tyra Banks Sues Netflix for Defamation Over ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Docuseries
The supermodel and ‘Top Model’ host claims, in the lawsuit filed in federal court Saturday, her three-and-a-half-hour interview was cut down to just 16 minutes and then “stripped of context and reassembled to support a false and defamatory narrative unrelated to what she actually expressed.”

Tyra Banks filed a defamation lawsuit against Netflix on Saturday, claiming that her portrayal in the America’s Next Top Model docuseries, Reality Check, which the streamer released in February, was edited to support a false narrative.
In the suit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Banks’ attorneys say she participated in a three-and-a-half-hour interview about the show’s legacy and decisions she would approach differently today. But, the suit claims, just 16 minutes of her comments were used in the three-part docuseries and they were”stripped of context and reassembled to support a false and defamatory narrative unrelated to what she actually expressed.” Her lawyers argue that the accountability she took for some of Top Model‘s most controversial moments was edited out.

‘Disclosure Day’: John Williams Recorded Two Hours of Music Over a Six Month Period for his 30th Collaboration with Steven Spielberg
John Williams‘ music for “Disclosure Day” marks his 30th score for director Steven Spielberg, dating back more than half a century to their first film together, “The Sugarland Express” in 1974.
It could be Williams’ final score for the movies. No one has formally stated that, and in fact Spielberg says he’s already spoken to Williams about doing their 31st together.
But Williams is now 94, and hinted three years ago that his score for Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans” would likely be his swansong. The director talked him into doing “Disclosure Day” even after Williams suggested four other composers as possible successors.

Learn how to be a better fellow passenger on the NYC subway from locals themselves.
It’s no secret New Yorkers move fast, from speed walking around crowds like it’s a timed sport to relaying breakfast orders as one long word and expecting it to come out in five seconds, flat. Plus, there are already several ways to be inconvenienced while taking the subway—train delays, densely crowded platforms, cars packed to capacity—so the last thing we want to deal with is people with poor etiquette slowing things down in completely preventable ways.
To keep things moving and be a considerate fellow passenger, here are four major subway mistakes to avoid in New York City, according to locals who rely on the public transit system to get around every day.
