The Barbie World Invasion continues and there’s nothing you can do to stop it, darlings. Just let the wave of pastels wash over you and don’t think about it too much. A day or two before the cast headed to L.A. for the star-studded premiere, and hours ahead of the Mexico City premiere several of them got dolled up semi-casual style for the local photo call.

He truly understands the assignment on the same level as his co-star. He’s serving up clean, non-threatening, pastel-infused Boyfriend Material, which is all he’s really supposed to be doing. LOVE the mesh tank top and the cuffed sleeves, which are both very Ken-like touches.

Your girl did it once again. While this is not an exact replica (for which we’re kind of grateful, because we’re a fashion blog not a cosplay blog), Margot’s paying homage to “Totally Hair Barbie” from 1992. We like that her team didn’t try to source or replicate the exact textile and dress, choosing instead to find a similar, already existing dress. We saw some social media complaints about the dress being wrong or the fact that she didn’t wear extensions that hit the back of her knees, which is exactly why we don’t think cosplay should be an ongoing thing for film promotions, even though it’s perfect for this tour. She looks very cute and very Barbie. None of the pinks match, but we really love the Chanel earrings.

Keeping it neutral and profesh while she stands next to two pastel-covered fashion dolls. It remains a really smart way for her to go. It’s a great dress, but the color is a little too bland.
