Rebecca Ferguson returned to her Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One promotional duties by hitting the red carpet for the New York premiere in a look absolutely designed to make you stare. We think perhaps half of the people who clicked on this post lingered for a moment on these words, but the rest of y’all scrolled down like your finger was on fire. We get it.

After all, that “necklace” practically demands that you come to terms with it in some way. It’s not a passive piece of jewelry. It’s more of an art piece that expects a level of engagement from the viewer, if that makes any sense. We respect the hell out of the choice, although we don’t think a red carpet makes a great place for it and we have no idea how it should be styled, but we’re pretty sure it shouldn’t be this way. A simple black or white column dress would’ve been our rec. The sparkles and the flared skirt don’t feel right with the piece at all.
