For our final “IN or OUT” post until Hollywood settles its myriad labor issues, Oppenheimer star Emily Blunt was kind and thoughtful enough to serve up a look at the London premiere well worth discussing.
You might recall that she kicked off this short-lived publicity tour in a very 1940s-inspired dress, which made us wonder if she was taking a Barbie approach to her red carpet style. It seems she wanted to quickly put the kibosh on any thoughts about her dressing according to theme, however. There’s no way to mistake this creation for some sort of retro throwback. She must have picked this out figuring she’d be sharing this red carpet with Florence Pugh, who absolutely adores making a big, splashy entrance. This holds her own against Miss Flo and we’ll give Emily some credit for working it well. But we cannot claim to love this design. We have such a viscerally negative reaction to fringe that we can’t be trusted to opine on its worth. You do it.

IN or OUT?
Also, are we crazy or is that head styling all wrong for it?
