Kylie Minogue is out here on these streets breaking records, enjoying yet another resurgence, and giving the gays their dance song for the summer. “Padam Padam” is an international hit and she has become one of only four women (Cher, Diana Ross and Lulu being the others) to have a Top 10 hit in the UK in each of the last five decades. She’s riding high and serving looks, which is exactly how we like our divas. She showed up at the Watch What Happens Live studios with a walking-in and walking-out look, which is also how we like our divas.

This color might be forever more known as “Padam red.” Or at least it will be whenever she wears it. It’s smart to dress in a nod to the video, although that’s an awful lot of leather for New York in June.

This feels like a classic Kylie look – a short, sparkly dress over some thigh-highs. We don’t like the design at all – way too blankety – but she seems to have a knack for working it.
