We never could have predicted this – especially since the franchise’s future is anything but assured under the new DCU regime – but the cast of Shazam: Fury of the Gods has been going HAM on their promo style.
We approve of their commitment if not their choices.
Zachary Levi in Canali
He’s really going all in on the leisure suit thing, isn’t he? We’re so conflicted, because we’re always telling male celebrities to dress with more flamboyance but we genuinely do not think any of this really suits him. The jacket, pants and shoes all work fine, but that ice cream parlor blouse with the chain and the disco neckline? Sir, this isn’t you.
Helen Mirren in Dolce & Gabbana
Of course she was going to turn to her beloved D&G for a Rome photo call. Queen Helen is nothing if not appropriate to the occasion at all times. The dress is rather explosively springtime in feel, which makes it seem a little premature from a season standpoint. We don’t really like the print at all and we don’t think the coat makes any sense with it. Once you commit to wearing the bunnies and the daffodils, you kind of give up the right to outerwear.
Lucy Liu in Fendi
Gorgeously chic. Perfectly done.
Rachel Zegler in Fendi
Between this and the hideous dress she wore in LA, we’re ready to suggest that this girl does not have good instincts. She was better off when she was working the bog-standard ingenue looks during the West Side Story pole dance.
