Miss Zendaya had herself an extremely style-heavy weekend as she hit the awards show circuit and once again showed her appreciation of fashion history.

Not technically vintage yet, this gown is from the Versace Spring 2002 collection. We’ll call it “archival” instead. Do we love it? No! Not at all! The bust design is horrible and the green inserts look a little bumpy and seam-heavy, in a way that a high fashion gown shouldn’t. We hate the center slit. If you want to make a flared-leg jumpsuit, just go ahead and make one instead of this fakeout version. If nothing else, this serves as a nice reminder of how bad early aughts fashion could get. Her hair and make are gorgeous, though.

This look was inspired by a design from Prada’s Spring 1993 collection, and it totally feels like something from the supermodel era. It’s fun and sexy and she looks amazing in it.

You can tell she loves this one. We don’t blame her. We’re a little tired of seeing so many pink gowns, and certainly that skirt design isn’t winning any innovation awards. It’s not edgy or fresh or trendy. It’s just really, really pretty. A total fantasy gown. Loving the retro hair. That necklace is stunning.
