That old Enterprise D crew got back together – most of them, anyway – for the premiere of the third season of Star Trek: Picard, in which they’re all finally co-starring. Honestly, what took so long, you guys?

Nerd hearts are swelling everywhere. It really is nice to see the old gang again.

He remains our Number One (no pun intended) example of how to grow old: fit, stylish, and willing to keep creating. He exudes a youthfulness that has nothing to do with how he looks. We’re not sure we’d have suggested pairing so much brown with that orange, but it’s a bold, colorful look that stands out on a red carpet. He knows what he’s doing.

Dr. Crusher, you had us until the footwear. The top is really cute and we love the collar, although we’d have liked not to have seen the white lining. The shoes just have way too much going on to be paired with a red leather skirt.

Worf looks like an insurance executive now. To be fair, the tie and shirt are really nice. We think they might have popped more with a black suit.

You know what? Those sandals are pretty fun and we don’t mind them with the dress at all. No, really. We think the bag was probably not a good idea because it just adds more visual info to an outfit that was already full of it. Plus it clashes with the shoes. But the dress is great and she’s killing it on the hair and makeup front.

None of these folks, with the exception of Patrick Stewart, have spent much time on premiere red carpets. That’s not a read, it’s just a fact. So while we might have more of a critique if much bigger stars were wearing these looks, we think this is fine for him. It’s flattering, colorful, and has a little bit of personality.

Levar looks fantastic. That beard is amazing and the outfit is simple, but stands out.

Jeri, we love you, but pleated satin? Really, girl?
