The White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza continues to work her blonde bombshell phase and we’re just a little mesmerized by her dress.

It’s actually about as simple and classic a gown design as you’ll find, but at the risk of stating the extremely obvious, that ombre effect on the bust line is gorgeous and extremely eye-catching. Given the precision and the textile involved, it’s also pretty impressive. We like that the sequins appear to be a color other than black, but it’s a little hard to tell exactly what it is in the always-dicey lighting of a red carpet. We like the Sharon Stone hair, so all of our quibbles land on the accessorizing. The jewelry seems a little random and uncoordinated. The starkness of the design probably called for fewer but bolder pieces. We tend to prefer more delicate sandals with a gown like this, but we can’t say the choice here is wrong.
