The Good Nurse star Eddie Redmayne continues to display the results of his style evolution toward “Nerdy Twee” as he stops by Colbert to chat about his latest work and model his latest look.

Clingy, ribbed sweaters are a total yuck for us. You couldn’t pay us to wear them. Don’t ask us for the rest of the list, but we’d place them in the Top Five of the least-flattering garments a guy can wear. Just pure evil in the design. We also hate turtlenecks and we loathe that terra cotta color. Despite all this – and we reiterate here that we really, really don’t like that sweater at all – we think he’s so well-suited to this style that it comes off more appealing just by virtue of him wearing it. Also: love your shoes, mister. We will never not love a shiny, fresh-from-the-box, uncracked pair of clodhoppers on a male or masc-presenting star. It makes a huge difference to the look and always photographs well.
