
The Sundance Film Festival has kicked off its final year in Park City and we kind of love this time of year because we’ve got Oscar hopefuls in New York and LA putting on their Serious Thespian looks as they campaign, while at the same time all of the stylists are trying to figure out how to make tweeds, boots and knitwear look chic on a red carpet in Utah. Carousel stars Chris Pine and Jenny Slate gave it their best shot.





They both look appropriately cozy. We can’t say we’re loving her satin pants, though. And we think some sort of contrast or pop of color would have been beneficial to the look. He is serving 1988 Divorced Dad realness. On the one hand, he looks great. On the other hand, we can’t really sign off on the idea of tucking a cableknit sweater into high-waisted jeans. The way the neckline on the sweater is stretched and pulling indicates that it was never meant to be tucked in and it looks weird. On the other, other hand, we’re happy to see a belt. The jacket’s really nice.
