We’ve gotta hand it to Eddie Redmayne. He really does seem to be trying to change his public style, which was already fairly stylish, if a bit on the conservative side. Recent outings and editorials have us thinking that he’s taking his natural predilection for nerdy styles and sort of turning the dials up on the drama, the cuteness, or in this case, the slightly seedy factor.
Y’know, if you hadn’t done the pointing pose, we think we might have been able to convince some of these folks that this is working for you, Eddie. It’s the semi-usual take on a ’70s classic – not quite a leisure suit nor disco-ready, but somewhere between the two. But the color story and proportions are a bit unexpected. We can’t say we love this outfit, but we do think it gets more interesting the longer we take it in.
