Darlings, if you’re in the need or in the mood for something spectacular to look at, have we got news for you. The Sandman star Kirby Howell-Baptiste sauntered onto the Jimmy Kimmel set in an utterly killer look.
Come on, now. That is an amazing look, head to toe. We’re on record many times over in our dislike of fringe or of unnecessary strappy sorts of things hanging off a garment, but not only can she handle that kind of foofaraw, she makes it look so effortless that it feels like it’s just part of who she is. It’s all entirely too much and most wearers would come off looking overwhelmed at best, clownish at worst. Sure, there’s a weensy bit of a parade float/party decoration feel to it, but she’s got the kind of personality that can meet and match the vibe of a suit like this. LOVE the hair. It was smart to keep the shoes simple to being nearly generic.
