Darlings, for this week’s podcast, we flipped on the mics, and dove into a couple of notable celebrity announcements this week, since they kinda-sorta touch on our own work in various ways. Right on the heels of Tom Holland’s announcement that he was taking a break from social media for his own mental health, Jonah Hill released a statement that he would be taking a step back from doing any promotional work for a while for largely the same reasons. We unpack why these announcements are happening now, the ways in which Holland and Hill are benefiting from other, braver and less privileged stars making the same choice, and why we fully support them, whether they’re doing it for cynical reasons or not.

All that, plus Lorenzo gives you all of his thoughts on Apple TV+’s thought-provoking but difficult Physical and Tom gives you all of his thoughts on the first four episodes of the non-thought-provoking but fun and light She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

That’s us – and this week’s podcast – in a nutshell, darlings: thought-provoking but also frivolous, serious but also light. We are large and contain multitudes. We also thank you for listening once again.
