As we noted last week, Brad Pitt has proven once again that he’s a major star who knows how to bend the light of attention toward him when he wants to. His promotional wardrobe for Bullet Train, almost exclusively provided by private label designer Haans Nicholas Mott, has kept everyone all abuzz in the fashion and entertainment press. As we put it in a recent podcast and also *checks nails* when the Wall Street Journal asked us, stars like Brad Pitt understand that they’ll get more coverage if they wear something worth talking about.
We suppose dancing on the red carpet helps too. This is fun and eye-catching. It redefines casual-dressy for men and it seems to feel very much of the moment. The colors look really great on him. We love the kicks, but we don’t think they’d have been our choice to go with this suit. They tend to take it a little closer to clown town than it deserves.
