Lupita Nyong’o came out to support her pal and former director Jordan Peele at the premiere of his latest, Nope. For the purposes of this post, none of that is as important as LUPITA NYONG’O! ON A RED CARPET! Oh, you have no idea how much we wistfully uttered that phrase during the darkest, longest days of ’20/’21 lockdown. “I just want a post about Lupita Nyong’o on a red carpet,” we’d say wistfully to one another, back when everyone was posing for premieres in hotel rooms or accepting awards next to their pools. Thankfully, those days are consigned to our collective rearview mirror and Miss Lupita is free to sashay out on any ol’ red carpet she likes, looking as cute as she wants to. To wit:
If we’re being honest, it’s a pretty basic look from the neck down. But that gorgeous hair and her own personality are doing all the work of making this LBD come off light and fun.
