The whole Ted Lasso gang (except Ted Lasso) stepped for another victory lap after a whole truckload of Emmy nominations landed on them. FYC (For Your Consideration) events aren’t particularly consistent about their dress codes, so the looks ranged from cutely stylish to completely devoid of style. Let’s dive in, shall we?
Kola Bokinni
Love the print. Neither the shoes nor the shirt are doing much to set it off. We’d have rec’d a pink shirt and white kicks.
Jeremy Swift
Um… pass.
Sam Richardson
This looks great. No notes.
Hannah Waddingham in Hervé Léger
The shoes look painful. Our eyes went straight to them because of the awkward hem length. But the color and style of the dress look great on her.
James Lance
Is this a “Friend of Dorothy” sort of thing?
Cristo Fernández
It suits him and it’s fairly appropriate for the venue and setting, we’d say.
Juno Temple in Valentino
Cute, but we would not think that the type of dress that calls for tights.
Brett Goldstein
There is no fashion to be found here.
Toheeb Jimoh
It’s a solid concept, but the jacket’s a little small, the pants a skosh too long, and the footwear is an uninspired choice.
Sarah Niles
Miss Lady got her first Emmy nom playing a decidedly un-glamorous (but still pretty fabulous) character, so we don’t blame her for glamming things up here. The shoes are too busy and heavy for the dress, though. Love the retro hair and makeup.
Phil Dunster
We’re going to pretend not to have seen this.
