If nothing else, you can always count on Janelle Monae to hit a red carpet in a look that’s worth discussing. Yes, that’s an indication that you should prepare yourself for the scrolldown.
We bet you weren’t sufficiently prepared. Well, like we said, it’s certainly a discussable frock. Taking a step back from it, we think the basic concept – combining a hard and soft sexiness – is a good one. We kinda/sorta like that top and we can even get behind the basic idea and design of that skirt. But we’re sorry Janelle, those dog leash clips are just not working for us. They’re so big and distracting that we just can’t get past them. Love the hair and earrings, though.
