Good Lady Cate stepped out to pick up a Chaplin Award at Lincoln Center last night and she threw any old thing on for the occasion.
We’re joking, of course. She looks fine and the gown is actually pretty elegant for Louis Vuitton. It just feels rather breezily effortless for someone with her fashion chops. We love the asymmetrical poncho, which is not a series of words we’d ever thought we’d write. The earrings are gorgeous too – and we think the relatively low-key hair and makeup really works for the look. We have no real critiques. How could we? She’s Good Lady Cate, for Pete’s sake. But we will say that a long black velvet skirt feels like an odd choice for late April – in this hemisphere, anyway.
