Tracee Ellis Ross stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel studio for a little victory lap after the series finale of Black-ish aired. She dressed exactly as we would have expected for the occasion: loudly and exuberantly. We can never get mad at anyone who loves sparkle and feathers as much as she does, but there’s one element in this insane frock that just doesn’t work for us.
It’s not technically a cutout, but we hate it as if it were one. You can see from the video below that the dress is backless, which would be fine if it wasn’t also sideless. It’s only an issue from certain angles and it works really well for a sit-down interview. The feather situation is insane. We love it, even if the way they’re placed is a little clumsy and awkward. Quibbles aside, it’s a dress that’s loaded with personality and it made us smile. That can’t ever be a bad thing.
Anthony’s pink suit is pretty nice too.
