Darlings, the Academy of Country Music Awards were last night and while there were plenty of cowpokes and just regular folk in attendance, we’re really only here for the gowns. We can only be as God made us, after all. Bring on the Yeehaw Eleganza, ladies!

Oof. Well, she seems pleased with it and that’s all that matters. Haha, not really. The waist hits at a terrible spot and the color is too prom.

Country Barbie gets a little sassy! Your girl hasn’t skipped leg day and she would like you to know that. We can’t find fault, except with the label. And the wiggy hair.

Beyond reproach and above critique, forever and for always. A queen.

You serve us that sci-fi lizard queen realness, girl. We are LIVING for this unexpectedly hard serve.

It’s a weensy bit stripper-tastic, but we don’t mind that. It’s the weird hem length that bugs here. That skirt needs another couple of inches on it and a slit to the hip. If you’re gonna go there, why half-ass it?

We love it. This is exactly the kind of couture we want to see at a country awards event. Our only critique is that the belt really doesn’t coordinate that well with it.

Ew, no. Skin bag.

Is it us or are weird hem lengths suddenly all the rage? We wish we could say we like this, but it’s a little too generic and shapeless.
