West Side Story star Rachel Zegler opted to momentarily ditch the ingenue drag that has been defining her red carpet style this month in order to get a little bit of glam on at the CNN Heroes tribute.
We approve of this turn of events. Zuhair Murad’s designs may not be the most tastefully elegant things you’ll see, but they’re fabulous, high impact celebrity prom gowns and they almost never fail to get the job done. We love the chain motif but don’t love the sheer butterfly sleeves. We also feel compelled to note that this gal evidently does NOT want to wear color if she can continue to avoid it. Love the hair and sparkly makeup. Kinda think the jewelry should’ve been gold, no?
