And now, red carpet perennial Cynthia Erivo, taking what we like to call a style breather.
While it’s true that we just dinged Succession star Sarah Snook for sticking to dresses not all that dissimilar to this one, when you have a red carpet track record like Cynthia Erivo, something this classic and restrained just hits differently. We all know she has a serious taste for the wild and outrageous when it comes to fashion. We think turning toward classic elegance right now might not be the worst idea for her. Maybe it’s not some long-term style evolution or anything. Maybe she’ll be be back to wearing something eye-searing before the week is out. Either way, she looks quietly, confidently fabulous in this and it’s hard to see how that’s a bad thing.
