It’s a smart move for a recent Emmy winner with perhaps less than household name recognition to get out there and make a splash as much as she can – especially if her signature role is allowing her some down time at the moment. Gentlepeople, we present Hannah Waddingham, savvy gal:

We have notes.

LOVE the color and the basic style. She’s a tall lady, so the midi length is hitting at a less than optimal spot. Since adding to the hem wasn’t a viable option, we’d have told her to bring it up a bit. We also aren’t all that in love with the pushed-up sleeves. It’s not the kind of dress that calls for that kind of sporty touch and the shape of the sleeves contribute to the dress’s somewhat Princess Leia-esque silhouette. We also don’t love the matchy accessories. Still, it’s giving her the things she loves most in her red carpet style choices: impact and sex appeal. It’s certainly a head-turner of a look on her. We’re just a couple of quibbly bitches.
