Let’s be nitpicky for this one, kittens.
We’ve mostly been big fans of her tendency toward showy, draggy, borderline tacky fashion. She’s not what an old friend used to viciously refer to as “one of those pretty sweater girls.” She could so easily go the expected ingenue route or the even more expected sex kitten one, but she’s decided that dressing like a middle-aged drag queen is where her style sweet spot is situated and frankly, we can’t see any reason to argue with that. We like the general style here. The marabou cuffs are practically a signature of hers at this point. But as we may have said once or twice before, we genuinely do not understand adding sparkles to beige when they would look so much better on literally any other color. In addition, we don’t love the shape of the shoulders (or the fact that the padding is more or less built into the visual design) and we think the hem hits at a weird spot.
There. Fully nit-picked.
