Neither one of these looks is completely, a hundred percent camera-ready, but it doesn’t really matter. Thandiwe Newton stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel studios to chat with her pal RuPaul about her film Reminisence and she’s so damn stylish that even her walking-in look comes off effortlessly chic.

Granted, sporting as much Chanel as you can carry on your back at once isn’t exactly the definition of effortless, but we love this look for being late-summer casual chic in a fairly relatable (Chanel logos aside) way. Love that cut of jeans cuffed and paired with slides. It looks great.

Those boots are DROP-DEAD FABULOUS and we’re surprised by how well they work with that dress. She clearly has a knack for neon.
