Yvonne Strahovski Promotes “The Handmaid’s Tale” in Dundas

The Handmaid’s Tale is one of those corners of the cultural conversation that we kinda feel like we’re missing out on, since we haven’t really checked in on the show since early in its first season. Granted, we hear conflicting reports as to its quality since then, but we never shook the feeling that it was important, good-for-you television that we’re supposed to watch. Broccoli television.

Now that we think about it, the show also has a cast that really isn’t full of fashion-minded celebrities and/or the subject matter maybe asks for a more subdued approach when it comes to promotional work, which means we don’t really see as many chances to feature them or talk about the show as we might expect for a series with a large female cast.

Anyway, this is a lot of words to serve as a preamble to the fact that Yvonne’s wearing a killer suit here:

A velvet suit seems a little off-season for May but we literally have no idea what city she’s in or even what hemisphere’s she’s standing on. All we know is that looks sharp and photogenic as hell. Love the earrings. Meh on the shoes.
