And now, a short respite from all the high gownery on display at the NAACP Image Awards to check in on Miss Awards Track 2021, who’s been quietly serving some of the sweetest, simplest, romantic sort of looks on her relentless promotional tour, Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm star Maria Bakalova, taking a little BAFTA nom victory lap in yet another one:

We’ll have to play another round of “Guess The Shoe” on this one, but the dress is really cute and probably wouldn’t work on a lot of other starlets. The collar and sleeves are just exagerrated enough to give it some real interest but not so much that the design feels unbalanced. Her makeup is great but we kinda wish the hair wasn’t so severe. As for the footwear, the boots in the look book shot are an amazing accompaniment, but we wonder if she wouldn’t be better taking the edge off the look – she’s really in her sweet spot working, well… sweetness. Silver sandals, maybe? White pumps would take this bridal, we think.
