Sure, sheer dresses are a little tired (although they’re not going anywhere any time soon, judging by the runways). And we can’t say this design is all that different from a million similar gowns that have all walked a red carpet in the last five years. But the Grammys doesn’t call for trendiness or chicness or anything like that. It’s about reaffirming your own image and she’s more than earned the right to come out looking like a pop diva straight out of legend. We love the butterfly design. And let’s face it: there are sheer dresses and then there are custom Versace, Swarovski crystal-studded sheer dresses. The sparkle is what makes the look. The coordinating eyeshadow and Cher hair are the perfect touches to complete it.
