Bridgerton star Simone Ashley stopped by Good Morning America to chat about her new rom com Picture This. Since we tend to complain about everything she wears, we thought we’d do her a solid this time and praise her for getting a look mostly right.

Bear in mind that we did say “mostly right.” We can’t wait for the trend for these flimsy skirts to die. Everyone’s walking out in their slips lately. Granted, no one really wears slips anymore. ANYWAY, this is all very cute, but that skirt really does make it feel like she’s missing an item – not to mention that the print and color story does nothing for the rest of the outfit. The jacket’s really nice. We wouldn’t have rec’d that belt action over a basic tweed, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Despite our nitpicky quibbles, she looks pretty cute.
