You guys. It’s J Lo. On an awards season red carpet. In a red-hot, ripped-from-the-runway look. Nature is healing.
Is it possible that we are so enraptured by the sight of an A-lister in a hot frock that we have completely abandoned our critical faculties? Okay, yes. It’s possible. EVEN SO. This is really fun and bold. We said this last week when Cardi B had some fun with a Christian Siriano design, he’s at his best when he’s playing around with shapes and silhouette. This is a perfect choice for Miss Jennifer because it has the kind of loud, space-taking feel that so much celebrity fashion has turned to this year in order to pierce the fog of lockdown, which gives it a modern, of-the-moment feel to it. But it ALSO gives her miles of leg, and you know she’ll never miss an opportunity to let you know how her maintenance program is going. We’d be remiss if we didn’t note that we hate the shoes, but the dress feels like a holiday party and we’re here for that.
