Miss Reese held a little Emmys mini-soiree in her backyard with crew and castmembers from The Morning Show, Big Little Lies and Little Fires Everywhere, like the big-deal producer and wheeler-dealer she is. But she’s still an actress on Emmys night which meant she served up a little bit of low-key formal fashion for us.

She modeled a lovely pair of sandals for the gram but she switched them out for fuzzy pink slippers, which you can just barely see on the TV screen. The look is basic and kind of simple, but we’ve long held that when it comes to red carpet styles, she does well with simple designs and muted colors. Her daywear’s another story and she can work a whole range of cutesy looks to country club chic, but when it comes to evening or formal wear, she tends to do best in something pretty much exactly like this. The fit is great, the proportions are perfect, and the bow detail gives it some cuteness and interest. Love the earrings.
