Kittens, we are EXTREMELY grateful that, despite everything going on in the world, we still have the opportunity to get out in front of a mic or a camera to talk about our beautiful unicorn baby. A few weeks back, we spent an hour reading from, talking about, and answering your questions regarding our book and all the themes in it. We can’t embed the video, but you can go here to see our lockdown hair and beards and watch us wax rhapsodic once again about legends.

And last week, we were invited by KQED in San Francisco to come on and chat about the book, which meant so much to us because when we wrote the book, we were adamant to give San Francisco its due as one of the most important epicenters of drag history. Not getting the chance to go there in person to promote our baby still hurts, but at least we got a chance to visit the city over the airwaves. You can listen to that interview here.

In another timeline, we would have been the happy hosts of a big glitzy book party and Drag Race finale viewing party tonight at the W Hotel in D.C.; one of the last appointments left on our Legendary book tour that was not to be, alas. But with Pride month on the horizon, we have a bunch of fun ways to talk about the book and the legends in it, so keep your eyes peeled for those.

And by all means, please consider snagging a copy of this astonishingly well-reviewed (*checks nails*) book to fill all your Pride month gifting needs! Or just as a way to treat yourself to a string of poignant, inspiring and occasionally infuriating stories about our forebears and trailblazers.
