Miss Laura’s been hitting that awards season track harder than we’ve ever seen her do it, using fashion in a more agressive way than she ever used to before.
We are LOVING it, in other words. Just don’t expect us to love all of her choices. We’re nitpicky bitches, after all.

We might question the hairstyle, which doesn’t seem to quite work for her face, but the fashion is absolutely gorgeous. We love that she’s sporting those luxurious-looking slippers instead of a standard heeled shoe for women. It goes so well with the hem embellishment and gives the whole look a slightly different feel than a more conventional shoe choice would have allowed for. As much as we like red carpet coats, and as gorgeous as this one looks, we wish she’d ditched it so we could get a better look at her dress, which looks pretty amazing.

On the other hand, this one’s a big, giant NO to us. It looks like a vintage prom dress – which isn’t the worst style in the world, but it’s definitely one that doesn’t suit her at all. The color and the sheer sleeves are especially bad for her.
