Duchess Megs steps out to pay tribute and respect – and maybe make a statement or two.
We’re going to start off by saying we really like this look. It has a somber and stately sort of glamour to it. And we think it’s more evidence of the idea that she’s starting to understand that glamour is what she brings to this family and leaning into it is probably to her benefit. The coat is rich and has a powerful silhouette that feels like a deliberate choice. And the boots from Vicki Posh are fabulous. But the belt is just not working and the hat feels too small and slightly incongruous with the rest of the look. Still, it’s a really strong and dramatic look, for which she’s owed some props. She’s dressing to take up some space now, instead of her former tactic of dressing to be as non-threatening as possible.
And her hair looks amazing.
