What a fabulous tribute to queer artists and black artists. How perfect for this event. Once again, she shows herself to be working on a whole different level when it comes to fashion. A level all her own, in some ways. Her style choices are always rich with messages and symbolism, making each red carpet appearance a manifesto of sorts. And the results – even when they’re open homages to earlier work – somehow always come out uniquely beautiful in the way she wears them. There’s no one making statements as clearly and powerfully as she does on the red carpet.
