All that glitters is not gold, darlings! Because sometimes, it’s silver!

Cheesy Shakespeare misquote/dad joke aside, we thought putting two looks extremely far apart in style yet adhering to the broad theme of metallics up for a cagematch sounded like a fun way to end the week. Both of these ladies came out strong, but the styles and overall vibes of each look couldn’t be more different. In truth, either of us could’ve gone the other way, which makes us think this one simply comes down to what you’re in the mood for at the moment.

T’s Pick: Cara Delevingne in Fendi at Samsung’s SpaceSelfie Campaign Launch

T’s Defense:  She’s our fierce-as-shit queer robot goddess and she never looks better than when she’s leaning all the way in on her otherworldly qualities. There’s no doubt this is a spectacular dress all on its own, but when a dress like this meets the right wearer and she knows how to work it, the effect is pretty damn dazzling

Lo’s Pick: Naomie Harris in Dice Kayek at the “Black and Blue” New York Screening

Lo’s Defense:  I think, for me, I’m just really feeling the clean sort of glamour of this suit. It’s beautifully eye-catching and takes a great picture but it doesn’t feel overwrought or overdone in any way. Her hair and makeup are on point and work well with the suit without fighting it. It’s a deceptively chic and well-coordinated look that manages to be just Hollywood enough.

Kittens, are you dazzled and blinded by all the sparkle and shine? Which one’s it gonna be?
