So thrilled, kittens! On several fronts! First, we’re thrilled that Miss Michelle’s amazing work resurrecting the spirit of Gwen Verdon and allowing it to inhabit her body for Fosse/Verdon is being rightly recognized as the amazing feat it was.
Second, we’re thrilled that she snagged herself a custom Louis Vuitton that truly suits her, catches the eye, and looks amazing on camera. Girlfriend didn’t need her contractual obligations to the house interfering with her victory lap so they tamped down on their cray tendencies to give her something Hollywood-appropriate, glamorous, and distinct in a way that seems just right for her. The sequin work and colors are gorgeous.
And finally, we’re thrilled most of all to see that she’s growing out that long-past-its-expiration pixie cut – and pulling off the often impossible halfway period when you mostly can’t do much with it. Truly, she has vast and mysterious hair powers.
And just to earn our bitchcred: she needed earrings, we think.
