Gentlemen, start your engines.

On the one hand, we’re starting to wonder if the light Elton drag (this jacket is an actual costume from the film) isn’t starting to come off a bit gimmicky. If we’re playing Imaginary Stylist – and really, isn’t that what we’re all doing here? – we’d have told him to pay homage to the man and the film by doing lightly sparkly, slightly queer style with a more up-to-date feel. Keep the jacket. It’s actually really fun. Just zip it up all the way and wear it as a shirt. Switch out those awful dress pants for something high-waisted with a tapered leg. Keep the boots.

That head certainly allows for a lot of leeway regarding all the style choices found underneath it, but even Mr. Suave here isn’t quite making us believe in the double-breasted black jacket/black dress shirt buttoned up/no tie set of choices. It looks way too priest and the buttons of his shirt are distracting.
Jamie Bell
Cute funeral director.
We can’t say he looks bad, but God, is that a dull ensemble.
