Oooh, we’re afraid not, Miss Girl. We’re usually on board with your Miu Miu and Prada-fueled schoolgirl/princess tweeness but we’re afraid we have to draw the line on hairbows. That’s an automatic no after about age 12, as far as we’re concerned.
And this is such a weird look to pull that style. The dress isn’t exactly juvenile and the shoes are definitely grown-up and sophisticated. Granted, if she was wearing some sort of Lolita look, the hairbows would be even worse, but they come off kind of jarring when paired with the kind of dress you might see on Helen Mirren.
In other news, this color story looks like toothpaste to us. Sorry, girl. This one didn’t come together all that well.
