Thanks to Paris Fashion Week and a handful of hard-working actor types, we are pleasantly surprised to be faced with a larger leftovers folder than we realized. Won’t you come with us, on a journey of discovery and judgment?
America Ferrera in Kate Spade New York
The jacket’s nice but the pants are terrible and the clashing pinks are unfortunate.
Chloe Sevigny in Miu Miu
She’s the Sevigny so she can come pretty close to making it work, but all that’s really missing here are the bunny ears and the cocktail tray.
He’s not leaning in either direction, so he must not be feeling this look. It’s cute, though.
Emily Browning in Miu Miu
It’s a very pretty, but almost sickeningly sweet dress. We kinda wish she’d gone harder and more rock-and-roll in the styling. This calls for a little Courtney Love.
Gwendoline Christie in Miu Miu
The dress is really cute. The jacket is STUNNINGLY hideous.
Helena Bonham Carter
This all seems to be in HBC order.
Low-key cute. The winged eye and touch of sparkle on the shoe are just right for it.
We’re once again happy to see she’s discovered color but this dress is kind of sad and awful.
Kate Beckinsale in Giambattista Valli Couture
We generally like her, but her fashion always comes off tryhard to us.
Laura Harrier in Miu Miu
That’s pretty stunning – and most of it’s her, not the clothes.
Lily James in Petar Petrov
The shape and lack of color make it look kind of drab and the pattern mismatch makes it look cheap.
Marion Cotillard in Chanel
Boldly Chic. A perfect tribute to Uncle Karl.
Ming-Na Wen in Mark Zunino
Yes, the dress is a bit much, but she’s working the shit out of it and she’s at the right place for it.
Naomie Campbell in Chanel
The Fashion Witch Supreme. Only she could make this pile look chic.
It’s got potential as a take on the ladytux but that tailoring could be a lot better.
Sofia Boutella in Jill Stuart
This dress appears to be very mad at us.
Tati Gabrielle in Elisabetta Franchi
LOVELOVELOVE. The colors are amazing.
Yara Shahidi in Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya
Yetide Badaki in Fouy Chov
Dorky but do-able Dad.
Zazie Beetz in Miu Miu
Love this on her. Somehow she manages to strip the tweeness out of it.
