Because of our origins as Project Runway fanbloggers and Miss Heidi’s historic role as the very first person whose red carpet attempts we graced with our published opinions, we feel like we can’t do Oscars coverage unless we check in on the Kluminator and her hilarious love of the tacky. Girlfriend knows what’s expected of her and delivers it in spades because that’s how former Victoria’s Secret Angels roll.

And she also knows the score. We’re not suggesting Heidi doesn’t love to dress this way, but she seems fairly aware of how tacky her style can be and Oscar night is the big night where she gleefully and unapologetically leans into it. Elie Saab makes some fairly glitzy couture, but you’ve really gotta work to find something this over-the-top in the pile.
Of course that’s nothing compared to her VF party getup:

Because why wear one glitzy showgirl dress to the afterparties when you can wear TWO? We salute you, Heidster. Living the “Too much is never enough” credo like a queen.
But yes, both of these dresses are terrible; make no mistake.
