We’ve gotta say, we didn’t predict Miss Zoe’s sudden turn toward conventional glamour and romance in her style, but we sure can’t argue with the results:
Actually, we can argue with that waist ruffle, which is silly and unnecessary. And if we’re being total whores about it, we have to admit that the bodice looks stiff and questionably fitted. But we’re more dazzled by the way she’s working these SUPER-Barbie sort of looks and making them seem fresh. We suppose it’s simply a matter of something being both unexpected and well-suited to the wearer, making it come off modern and stylish when we’re pretty sure a pink glitter gown and gigantic emerald earrings would look a little drag queen on someone else. She can make the potentially tacky or doll-like fashion look way chicer than it is. The runway model looks rather silly in comparison.
