Sandra Bullock at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: “Bird Box” Event

Miss Sandy keeps things lightly professional and boldly photogenic at the same time, threading the needle on this sort of event rather perfectly, we’d say. We have quibbles of course, but that’s why you love us so, darlings.

We really love the combination of pale pink and bold red on her. She used to avoid almost all colors in her promo style, something we always considered a mistake, given her own coloring. She comes alive when you put her in rich or bright shades. She loses us a bit on the shoes. We don’t mind the color. It’s a good idea to wear a bold shoe when you’re sitting down on a stage. But we think we’d have rec’d a simple red pump in this instance. The slight fussiness of the shoe design doesn’t go all that well with the briskness of the suit.

We don’t know. We love everyone in that cast, but the premise looks goofy and incredibly strained.
