This whole idea of see-through skirts is going to seem so silly twenty years from now. Granted, they seem pretty silly to us right now, but apparently, a lot of folks are convinced on their charms. Why else would we be seeing them so often and for so long? It goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway: this would have been chic as hell if the skirt was lined. As is, it’s just puzzling and goofy; not just the sheerness of the skirt, but that way it’s been paired with such a heavy, covered top half. The effect is only made more absurd to us with the severe hair and makeup. It’s like she’s trying so hard to be fierce while at the same time trying not to show how cold her bottom half is. Miss Rosamund, don’t let yourself get talked into these silly ensembles.
