Julia. Sweetie. We get that you’re not big on the whole girly-girl fashionista thing. We would never expect you to be anyone other than who you are, dressed in the best possible expression of yourself.
This ain’t it, girl.
Absolutely, a pants-and-blouse sort of style is her sweet spot. We would never start pushing her toward mermaid skirts and stilettos. But there’s a breezy, Charlie’s Angels/Lauren Hutton sort of way of doing this look; a way that would look pretty spectacular on her when done right. This? Not done right. Not by a long shot. These pieces are badly proportioned for her, look cheap, and are too vividly colored for her. The waist is too high, the shoulders too sloping, and the cuffs and hem are too long. This general style area is a good one for her, but pretty much every detail here is wrong in some way.
